At SLMT, we believe in balancing theory and practical training. Industry interface enables students to analyze and understand the ever-changing dynamics of the industry. SLMT arranges for periodical Industrial visits to various reputed Logistics, Retail and Manufacturing Companies.
During the course duration, we take our students for several industrial visits. Industry interface enables students to analyze and understand the ever-changing dynamics of the industry. These visits provide students with adequate exposure to tackling live problems encountered in the working of an industrial entity.
This helps them receive industrial exposure from eminent public personalities in the world of Logistics. As part of a visit, students see work in progress and relevant demonstrations. Employers also talk to the students about career paths, job opportunities, job functions, the schooling needed to enter the field and what employers look for in employees. These visits are designed to provide students with firsthand knowledge of a working environment.
The overall objective of the training sessions is to instruct students about the Logistics Industry and to familiarize them with the equipment and techniques in the respective areas. SLMT is the only training institute that provides intensive Pre- Placement Preparation (PPP) to all its students which further helps in interview preparation, personality enhancement, developing communication skills and career planning.

Our Training and Placement cell is a highly focused and committed unit providing the budding students with guidance in their choices and access to future employers.
The courses offered to the students have extensive coverage and have been designed in such a way as would facilitate the exposure of students to the growing and diverse areas of Business Management in the field of Logistics.
In their final part, all students undergo Internship with an industrial, business or service organization. Each student is required to submit his / her Training Project report to the Department for the purpose of evaluation which is very mandatory for their Placements.
