Placement Procedure

Companies are invited to SLMT’s campus by the Placement Cell / the companies will conduct Interviews through Video conference through SLMT’s Placement Officer for their requirement.

The company conducts test and/or group discussion to short list the interested students as per the Organizational policies. Short listed students are then interviewed for final selection by the company. The result is usually announced on the same day or within 2 – 3 days.

    • SLMT is the only training institute that provides Pre-Placement Preparation (PPP) to all its students which further helps in interview preparation, personality enhancement, developing communication skills and career planning.
    • Industrial Training is compulsory for all the students as it is an integral part of the curriculum depending on the program.

If you feel that you just aren’t giving the right answers to an interviewer’s questions, try changing tactics — and ask the interviewer a few questions of your own.

Be sure to prepare your questions in advance and make sure they are appropriate. Some examples:

  • What’s your favorite thing about working at this company?
  • Why do you think that you are best suitable for this job?

If you feel, you are lost in answering the question, maybe you misunderstood the question. Or maybe the question wasn’t phrased clearly. That doesn’t mean you have to struggle — just ask the interviewer for some clarification.
